I have just read Pass the Meme: Blog Type Analyzer which was "inspired by this post on Ayende’s blog", so I too have passed my blog to the analyzer and it came up with the following…

ISTP - The Mechanics

The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

Interesting results

Like Steve Bohlen I would agree that the results are pretty much how I'd like to think of myself - though I'm sure that the same is true for horoscopes, we identify with the positive. Yes I respond to challenges that arise and enjoy figuring things out (that's one of the main reasons I enjoy writing code; its problem solving that I enjoy) and being told that I'm a "master" of this massages my ego a little so now I want to fit the rest of the description. 

I'm impressed that all this can be determined by a quick scan of my blog though but it could just be picking up on a few keyword. But its all a bit of fun really - give it a go!
